Tim has been in hospitality for nearly 30 years, beginning his career in a kitchen immediately after school. Today, he is an accomplished advisor and the founder of Clever CafeNan incubator and live planning platform for Australian cafe ownersNand the co-founder of HospoSure, a specialised menu development and pricing tool used by startups and early-stage operators nationwide.
Having spent years advising large hospitality portfolios, Tim brings multi-site discipline and financial rigour to mature venues. However, he now focuses primarily on designing early-stage “tech cafes,” helping founders structure their operations, menus, staffing, and finances properly during the critical first 12 months.
Through Clever CafeOs Pathways, Tim provides a live environment where founders can plan, cost, and get the startup right from day one. Although he is a trained ACTP professional, he moved away from traditional coaching in favour of Self-Directed Implementation. He values accessibility, owner independence, and creativity, providing the frameworks that allow owners to run the show themselves without the overheads typically associated with external advice.
