Jo Steuart is the Director of Marketing & Partnerships at Applejack Hospitality, one of Sydney’s most dynamic hospitality groups, operating 13+ venues across the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
At the heart of Jo’s work is a deep belief in the power of place. She leads marketing strategy for Applejack’s venues across some of Sydney’s most exciting micro-precincts N RAFI (North Sydney Upside), The Butler (Potts Point Village), Forrester’s (Surry Hills), and Taphouse (Darlinghurst/Rainbow precinct). Her approach is built on understanding each precinct’s unique identity, community, and audience, and activating genuine connections between venues and the people who live, work, and play nearby.
Applejack’s most recent milestone is the 10-year operation of Opera Bar and House Canteen at the Sydney Opera House, with Jo leading the marketing strategy as both iconic venues undergo a significant renovation and rebrand.
Jo leads a talented marketing team, driving integrated marketing strategy N from brand and campaigns to partnerships, events and content N across the group’s diverse portfolio of venues. She is passionate about data-driven, hyper-targeted marketing and a strong advocate for harnessing AI to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations.
