My name is Brett Laws (Lawsy) and I love butchery.

I see myself as a very passionate butcher, I love the trade it’s my life, I’ve been in the butchery trade my whole life, I’ve been a butcher for 25 years. I work at Pryde Meats Narellan and love to serve the local Narellan community.

I love to showcase the trade and the craft of butchery. I enjoy being a role model to the upcoming young butcher’s around the world and to show them that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

I love to encourage young people into our butchery trade. My strengths in butchery are my value adding. I’m very passionate to push the boundaries of butchery to take that step forward for the future of the trade. Breaking down and boning would be my other strength, along with garnishing.

I would bring my experience in butchery competitions to the team, my creativity in the display and products, my tidiness, competitive attitude, I’m a very organised person and my fun and determined attitude and I love to bring a team together as one, and would never let my teammates down in any way.
