Adam Baker is the Managing Director of Otto AI – an AI voice platform for hospitality that handles phone enquiries, manages reservations, and sends orders directly to the POS. His work sits at the intersection of operations and guest experience, helping venues capture every interaction without adding pressure to the floor.
With over 15 years in technology, including a decade focused on hospitality, Adam began his career in travel-tech before stepping behind the pass as a chef in some of Australia’s leading restaurants. He later returned to technology with a hospitality lens, leading customer experience and go-to-market functions at senior and executive levels across some of the industry’s best-known platforms.
Most recently, Adam spent time in agentic AI orchestration for enterprise, gaining a clear view of how organisations are deploying AI at scale – and where it’s ready for real-world operations.
That blend of traveller, operator, and technologist shapes how Adam thinks about AI today. He believes the next era of hospitality will belong to operators who use AI to remove friction, while extracting meaningful data and insights from every guest interaction – while delivering exceptional human moments that define great venues.
