As CEO of Pablo & RustyOs Coffee Roasters, he has led the company to the forefront of sustainability and innovation, achieving B Corporation certification, Carbon Neutral Organisation status (Climate Active), and membership in 1% for the Planet. Under his leadership, Pablo & RustyOs has won multiple awards for workplace excellence and positive impact.
A strong advocate for the specialty coffee industry, Abdullah has been instrumental in raising awareness about sustainable pricing and education in the cafe sector, ensuring Australian cafe culture remains world-leading. He is a regular voice in the media, podcasts, and on social platforms, contributing thought leadership on key coffee issues, including customer experience, climate impact, pricing, automation, and technology.
With credentials as a CPA, PMP, MBA, and GAICD, Abdullah brings a learning mindset to the evolving landscape of coffee and hospitality. Beyond his executive role, he serves as a non-executive director for the Westmead Hospital Foundation and supports various charities. He is also a board member of ARCA (Australian Restaurant and Cafe Association).
